  I was treated by a physiotherapist named Heather at this facility. I was very disappointed with the services I received here. On a typical visit, she would use the ultrasound machine for 5 minutes on the injured area. then she would send me to the kinesiologist to do some exercises for 20 minutes. The kinesiologist would be working with 2 or 3 other individuals at the same time. She would print out the exercises for me to do at home Needless to say I wasn't getting any better. The last time I was there I injured myself quite badly since I wasn't getting any supervision or guidance. I quit going and cancelled all future appointments. No one ever called me to ask why...they didn't give a damn. When I visited another specialist at the clinic, neither one of them acknowledged me, but just looked the other way. Very unprofessional and mediocre service! i finally found an amazing physiotherapist in Owen Sound across the street from Walmart. They are "hands on" and the physiotherapist spends 20 minutes or more manipulating and massaging the problem area before ultrasound or stim machine treatment. Then you see the kinesiologist who works with you "one on one". My recommendation is don't settle for mediocre service...shop around!

  Saugeen Physiotherapy and allied Heath is AWESOME! I have complex issues and my physiotherapist, Heather, is very knowledgeable and shares this knowledge making you feel comfortable and part of the therapy process. She makes sure you understand what the issue is and what she is going to do to help! When I have homework she prints the information out so that I do not forget what she has explained! I have a long way to go but Heather is my biggest cheerleader! Can’t say enough good things! Don’t hesitate to see her! Also, Connie, Chrissie and Marsha at reception are super nice and try to accommodate the best they can, I look forward to seeing them!

  One more last thing (lol) you can also get a massage, see a podiatrist and a kinesiologist at the clinic! One stop shop! I have seen them all and am very pleased!

  One more thing, my daughter (10) was seen by Heather and she was great with her. Again explaining everything clearly to my daughter and why she needed to do the exercises she was asked to do (even got out the cool skeleton to help explain). She was kind, gentle and sympathetic!
