For over 30 years, I have been warmly welcomed by Dr. Grundy and his friendly staff. Upon entering his beautifully decorated office, you will instantly feel the calming atmosphere with TV, reading material, play room and free WiFi to help you relax. He offers all the latest and greatest techniques and procedures as in whitening and sedation in dentistry of which I have enjoyed great results. I have referred many friends over the years, and they too have been very pleased as well. He is the best in this entire region.

I am not a big fan of dentists to begin with. I had all of my upper teeth out at the age of 21. About 15 years ago I had quiet a few of my lower teeth removed and got a partial plate. About 6 years ago the tooth on the right side of my mouth that help hold in the partial broke off at the gums, it never hurt so I didn't do anything about it. Over the years the tooth on the left side holding in the partial has gotten very rotten. Two weeks ago it became infected so I couldn't even wear the partial it was to painful and my left side of my face looked like a chipmunks it was so swelled. I received a flyer in the mail for the Grundy Family Dental Care so I gave them a call and made an appointment for the next day. From the moment I got there I was impressed. It was a beautiful building, with a handicap parking space right at the door, which was handy for me as I walk with a cane as I have a severe case of fibromyalgia. So I park, enter the building, which brings me right to the reception area. There was the receptionist and about 3 other ladies they all greated me with a Good Morning, which was very nice. I identified myself and they gave me a few forms to fill out. The waiting room is a very pleasant place to wait by the way. After filling out the forms, within 1 minute I was taken into the back for the first leg of the appointment, which was the xrays. The girl walked me through the procedure and explained everything she was doing and explained why also. The next step she showed me to the examination room where another girl gave me a complete check up for oral cancer and the works. Next the dentist came in and did a complete check over also and explained everything that was wrong with my teeth and mouth. They noticed that on my forms I said I was not very fond of being at the dentist, which they assured me was quite all right and asked what they could do to make the procedures more pleasant. I hate the needles so I was given 3 other alternatives. I had to take antibiotics for a week before they could do anything for me. Before I left they gave me a welcoming bag of goodies. I couldnt believe it. When I went back in to get the one tooth removed it went so quick. I was in at 8:30 and out by 9. That was getting the tooth removed, paying and setting up for my next appointment. When the freezing wore off I had absolutely no pain, I couldnt believe it. I have to go back in 3 weeks to get the other tooth removed and I am actually for the first time in my life excited to be going back to the dentist. I would recommend the Grundy Family Dental Care to anyone I were to talk to. I have been telling everyone I talk to about them and they all sounded impressed too. My husband asked me how to go about changing his dentists. He will definately be one of their new patients soon too. I forgot to mention that the evening of when I got the tooth removed the dentist called me to see how I was doing and if I had any questions, and then the next morning one of the girls from the office also called to see how I was feeling. To me that shows that they actually care about you not about the dollars. Looking forward to seeing the soon.

I used to like coming here to have my teeth cleaned, however Grundy dental has really gone downhill over the past few years. The room I was ushered into today had a very uncomfortable bench which the hygienist explained was old and she offered me a pillow which did not help too much. The TV was broken and the room was cold. The blanket I used for warmth smelled badly. The hygienist seemed very inexperienced and did not do a proper deep cleaning. She said she liked to use a gentle approach. I have only gone here for cleanings for the past few years since I had a bad experience with a dentist who replaced my cracked fillings. My bite has never been the same because she ground down my teeth. She is no longer there.....turnover is very high at this dental practise. Please do your research and get references before you get any dental work done here!

For anyone who may or may not be reluctant, my family and I had a great experience. Both my children 8 & 13 were comfortable and happy. My children are actually looking forward to our next visit. Try this team you won't regret it.
